Little Battlers eXperience English Dub Cast Revealed

Ahead of the channel’s August 24th broadcast in the US, Nicktoons has begun streaming the first episode of the Little Battlers eXperience anime on their website. This English dub, which is different from the one that aired in Asia, was directed by Karl Willems and produced by the Ocean Group for Dentsu Entertainment USA in association with Rollman Entertainment. Voice actors were recorded at Ocean Entertainment in Vancouver and Blue Water Studios in Calgary, Canada. Here’s the entire cast list from the first episode, entitled “Starting Small”:

Little Battlers eXperience Premieres Next Month On Nicktoons

Dentsu Entertainment have announced the launch date for the Little Battlers eXperience anime on Nicktoons in the US. The show premieres on August 24th at 10AM ET. According to the press release, the 26-episode adaptation was produced by Dentsu in partnership with Rollman Entertainment. The brand’s western debut will be at this weekend’s San Diego Comic-Con.

In promotion of the impending launch, Nicktoons have launched the show’s webpage. It contains two videos (which are embedded above) alongside a description of the show and its characters:

Van Yamano wanted an LBX robot more than anything else in the world, but his mother always refused. And then one day fate brought him his very own LBX named Achilles. A naturally gifted LBX player, Van soon finds himself battling to free his missing father from the clutches of an evil organization. But what Van doesn’t know is that his LBX Achilles holds the key to the fate of the entire world. He will soon find himself caught in the midst of a vast conspiracy for global domination with the highest ranks of power. It’s up to Van to defend the world from tyranny depending solely on his own unique abilities and his LBX robots.

Viz Media To Publish Little Battlers eXperience Manga In North America

STK650212As Dentsu Entertainment prepares for the impending launch of the Little Battlers eXperience anime on Nicktoons in the US, their merchandise partners are slowly being revealed. Anyone who’s followed the franchise should be well aware of Bandai’s model kit lines and it looks like Viz Media wants to get people familiarized with the manga. According to two listings, Viz Media (through their child friendly Perfect Square label) will begin publishing Hideaki Fujii’s Little Battlers eXperience manga this fall. The first two volumes launch on November 4th, with the third expected sometime in January. Those that can’t wait can get a free sample of the series as part of the 2014 Halloween ComicFest on October 25th.

Little Battlers eXperience Wars, and W Super Custom announced for 3DS

The latest issue of CoroCoro Comic has revealed some interesting news! Last year’s PSP/Vita release Little Battlers eXperience W will join Little Battlers eXperience Explosive Boost on the 3DS as LBX: Super Custom. This game will be released in the summer. But the next chapter is Little Battlers eXperience Wars. This will be a new start for the series as Arata Sena and his LBX, Dotfacer take centre stage with Hikaru Hoshihara, Haruki Izumo, and Muraku Houjou as supporting characters. No release date has been announced but the ongoing anime on TV Tokyo will be renamed to reflect the Wars storyline starting April 3rd.



Of course, the existence of LBX W Super Custom is interesting as Level-5’s CEO Akihiro Hino said there wouldn’t be a “Boost” re-release for the game

Bandai brings Little Battlers eXperience to New York Comic-Con

A leak of a banner from this weekend’s New York Comic-Con showcases Bandai America’s involvement with the franchise:

Bandai has become worldwide license holder for the toys, and will presumably be releasing western versions of the ubiquitous model kits once the anime series hits TV. That’s Dentsu Entertainment USA’s job. They’ve employed Bluewater Studios in Calgary to dub the series in English (separate to the already existing Asian dub) and will launch sometime in Fall of 2013. Read the rest of this entry

Inazuma Eleven Go vs. Little Battlers eXperience W second trailer posted

Level-5 has released the second trailer for their upcoming theatrical crossover between Little Battlers eXperience W, and the soccer themed Inazuma Eleven Go:

The film itself opens December 1 in Japan. Those who preorder tickets will receive two sets of trading cards themed around LBX, and Inazuma Eleven. As well, this will entitle early ticket buyers to a password to unlock Ikaros Raimon Z in LBX W for PSP and PSVita. This LBX is simply Ban’s normal Ikaros Zero with a Raimon Soccer Club themed frame.

Level-5 have released a series of TV commercials for the upcoming release of Little Battlers eXperience W on PSP, and PlayStation Vita. The game hits store shelves on October 18th in Japan.
