Ahead of the channel’s August 24th broadcast in the US, Nicktoons has begun streaming the first episode of the Little Battlers eXperience anime on their website. This English dub, which is different from the one that aired in Asia, was directed by Karl Willems and produced by the Ocean Group for Dentsu Entertainment USA in association with Rollman Entertainment. According to the press release, the 26-episode adaptation was produced by Dentsu in partnership with Rollman Entertainment. The brand’s western debut will be at this weekend’s San Diego Comic-Con.
In promotion of the impending launch, Nicktoons have launched the show’s webpage. It contains two videos (which are embedded above) alongside a description of the show and its characters:

Battlers Box has learned that the English dub of Little Battlers eXperience currently airing on Animax in South East Asia will not be the English version released internationally by Dentsu Entertainment USA. The LBX English dub currently airing on Animax is one produced in Hong Kong specifically for the South East Asia market. As mentioned in our first posting, it is not uncommon for Animax to produce dubs exclusive to its channel, and this one seems to be another. We’ll just have to wait even longer for Blue Water’s Canadian adaptation of LBX, but in the mean time, does it excite you that there’s two English dubs for LBX in production? I wonder which one will be better! Read the rest of this entry
